E. Marshall Newton, MD
Dr. Newton was born in Winchester, Virginia and grew up outside of Philadelphia. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Bucknell University. While attending graduate school at the University of Virginia and studying Biomedical Engineering, he worked with handicapped patients and decided to pursue a degree in medicine. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1994 and did a three-year Family Medicine residency in Charlotte, North Carolina at Carolina’s Medical Center. He moved to Charleston, South Carolina and went into private practice in 1997. He is the proud father of two teenage daughters and enjoys basketball, golf, tennis and traveling.
Lindsey D. Kettinger, DNP
Dr. Kettinger completed her undergraduate education at Bates College in Maine with a degree in biology. After working in clinical research at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, she attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she received her Master of Science and Doctorate of Nursing Practice degrees. She is board certified in family medicine and has been in practice since 2012. She enjoys travel, running, art, gardening and spending time outdoors with her family and two golden retrievers.
